In September, Ooblets will release its full version 1.00B.
After six years of development and two years of early access, Ooblets will go live on September 1st, 2022.
In the whimsically laid-back and adorable Ooblets, it combines creature-collecting, farming, and life simulation with a quirky plot and a tonne of eccentric characters.
The odd adventure was created and published independently by the Glumberland team.
We eagerly followed Ooblet's development as it unveiled ever-cuter creatures.
Some people were drawn in by the game's farming mechanics, while others were drawn in by the dancing battles and still more by its bizarre use of the English language.
Even in their early access phase, Les Ooblettes, as they are known in French, are among the best PC creature-gathering games a la Pokemon.
"Ooblets is for you if you're looking for a Pokémon game that's also an agricultural and life sim," said Rachel Watts in our Early Access preview.
She noted of the Early Access release that she spent countless hours on each of these components.
