Jack Harrison puts speculation about Leeds United's future to rest by revealing season goals.

Harrison has been talking about the rumours that have swirled around his future this summer.

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison has put his future plans on hold following interest from Newcastle United over the summer.

Harrison was the subject of a summer bid from the Magpies, who added fuel to the fire with an answer he gave during a pre-season interview.

When asked if he planned to stay at Elland Road after this summer, the 25-year-old replied, 'we'll see.'

With Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha already gone, his response sparked a social media frenzy, with supporters fearing another key departure.

In a recent interview with Mail Online, Harrison admitted that he didn't mean to cause such uncertainty about his future with his response, and that he is now looking forward to a successful season with Leeds in the hope of earning an England call-up.

"I knew nothing about it, and it threw me off," he explained. My response gave the wrong impression of what I was trying to say. People were asking each other on social media, 'What have you said?'

"But it was insignificant. My intent is to be present and to work hard for this team. If anything, I want to make a bigger impact than before, and I believe this is the best place for me to do so.

"My early-season performances weren't great, but I believe I improved." My ambition is to attend the next England camp in September. If I am to have any chance of competing in the World Cup, I must make the next squad.
