Howard "Howie" Kleinberg competed on the third season of Top Chef Miami. The Bravo show's official Twitter account recalled how she was "so fulfilled by her passion for cooking."

The Florida-based chef, who competed on the third season of the culinary competition series, died on July 22, according to his obituary. He is 46 years old. Kleinberg's mother, Susan, told the Miami Herald that he died of a heart attack.

"I'm simply figuring out the number-of-lives he that contacted," she imparted to the distribution. "He was hitched to his enthusiasm throughout everyday-life, which was his cooking."

Subsequent to learning of Kleinberg's passing, Top Chef offered recognition via online entertainment. "The #TopChef family is disheartened to find out about the unforeseen passing of Howard Kleinberg from season three,"

According to the Miami Herald, Kleinberg was born in South Florida and completed his studies at the Culinary School of Johnson & Wales University.

He began his career at the InterContinental Miami Hotel and went on to work at several other hotels and restaurants, including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Timo, Ivy Aventura and Food Gang.
